Plans

Here are my travel plans, I fly from Heathrow on the 17th January 2006 to Hong Kong, where the adventures start.

  • Well I have arrived, the flight was good I managed to get an alise seat and an empty seat next to me. Films were ok and actually slept for 4 hours. I got the air bus to Causeway Bay and directed myself to the hostel, but then thought I hadn't as everything here has a tiny door on street level and is then on the 88th floor!
    It was very lonely yesterday, but feeling a bit better now, spent all this morning walking around which is very tiring. It's still misty so not going to get the ferry to the other side or up the mountain. I might go to Ocean Park theme park tommorrow, to see the Giant Panda's, seeing as I can't get an english speaking tour into China.
    Anyway i'm ok, if anyone fancies joining me, hurry up as its abit lonely at the mo.

  • Well Hong Kong is certainly interesting, i'm fed up of Chinese food already! It's not so lonely now as the girls int he room are nice and I met a guy called Jon yesterday in the themepark, although he was a bit odd (where do I find them?) It was very wierd going on rides by myself but its all character building as mum would say. I've been to a night street market, a temple where I got gased with incense and took the boat to Macau (a city I will definatly never be visitng again) and off course the highlight of the trip, I could almost come home now, seeing the 2 giant panda's An An and Jia Jia, even if all they did was sleep and wee!
    Hope everyone is ok, oh and Bry I was exagerating about the 88 floors, i'm only on floor 7, just close enough to hear the beep beep beep beep of the road crossing all night! love jenxx
